Hi you two  :D

I notice that the 1851 has a correction sticky on it saying that her birth/maiden name was Amelia Morris. It has been posted by the great great great granddaughter of Amelia. I can PM you her contact details, if you wish  :)

So if Paul could look please  for an Amelia Morris b.c. 1804, Wrexham, we might get her parents.

Not sure but the submitter now lives in Oswestry.

Could they have married in one of the surrounding parishes  :-\

Still living at Street Draw,  the oldest son on the 1851 is Frederick, aged 24. Seems to be the one that you found bpt 1827 so the marriage would be around then, I would think.

Children James aged  14, Price aged 7,  Elizabeth, aged 5 and John aged 23 months on the 1851 would probably be registered. Any of their birth certs would confirm Amelia's maiden name - Morris or not  :)

Sometimes I run out of good ideas, Paul. Most of the time these searches are a hard slog   :-\

Well, I've had a small good idea.

I went and checked the person's tree on Ancestry. Unfortunately, she's not allowing access unless she is contacted. However, I do know that her father was Robert Morris from the little that I gleaned  :)
