Inquest reports from GLS transcribed by Australian researcher.

Hi

I am member on GLS board and I was sent the following by a fellow member (my thanks to ChasH):

Re: INQUEST/Newspaper for EMMA SIMONS Aug 1839.

Quite a while ago somebody in Australia transcrbed GLS inquests from 1722 to 1838 as reported in the Gloucester Journal and put it on the net - and a right blood curdling account it is!

Alas, as far as I know, the transcriber did not continue and the transcription   http://www.genebug.net/glsinquests.htm

However, somebody in Oz may know more, so I suggest you try http://groups.google.com/group/soc.genealogy.australia+nz/topics or search with Google to try to find an Oz list/forum/FHC where somebody may be able to help you.

My question is, does anyone know whether the transcriber continued?  (unfortunately for me the inquests presently posted end in 1838.)  Also is anyone also a member of the google group would be willing to post in my behalf on this issue?

Thanks so much.
