Married to Caroline bc1847.

The Robert Lees arrived on 11 Jan 1877 at Pt Adelaide     from Plymouth.

The SPEARPOINT were assisted immigrants.  I don't have access to the shipping records but perhaps some other chatter may look them up for you.

May I suggest that you amend your topic heading...it has the incorrect surname.  It has SPEARMONT.  Perhaps it has been altered by the Kris the moderator as I note she has edited your post.

  Hi Cando.....

That is brilliant. I was hoping the unusual name would throw something up.
If you can see any info on the Australian births that would be really good.

Off to bed myself so will catch up with you later.

  Thank you very much

   Tazzie

  Have amended topic..... Thanks

 - has a mention of Ingram Spearpoint in 1894 - charged in South Brisbane with deserting his wife, Caroline, ordered to pay 10s a week for her support.
