Register Offices
« on: Monday 21 February 05 22:07 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Is it possible to view records at the register offices as opposed to paying for a certificate?

You can view records quite freely at Truro records office, but what happens when they marry in a registry office?

It gets really expensive if you have to keep buying certs!!

Thanks

Hi alina,

Presumably you mean that you can view church records quite freely at the record office in Truro.  Unfortunately, I don't think that you can view the registers from the registry office.  These would still be held by the local registrar.  Why don't you give them a call and ask?  ;)
