hi ecneps, thanks for your reply, i will be looking at your suggestions. also i would like to update r. reece. i now have the actual birth certificate, and it says as you have already posted, i also now have a further five medals + a ribbon with attendance brooch,es on it. the ribbon + three medals are stamped with the captial letters k.g.h., my research says this means knight of the golden horn. the remaining two medals are identical in that , they are both the same size , made of a very light alloy,with the same inscriptions, which say, commemoration of peace 1919, county borough of sunderland, ald: w.f. vint j.p. mayor . thanks khonalan.
