Trying to find marriage  and birth of john willis.
Father of henry or harry willis born 1855, married to matilda beesley.

Was able to find harry willis and matilda beesley not problem, in census, and had john willis in census as being widowed. But need help with finding who he married, and when he was born as in mother and father.
Any help would be great,
Thanks
Sifer

Which census did you find John a widow and what was his occupation? Do you have the marriage certificate for Henry?

Ten pages on Willises here:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,350624.msg2538877.html#msg2538877

Have you found Henry/Harry's birth (sorry didnt re read all 10 pages) - if so getting the cert will tell you parents incuding mothers maiden name.

Then you can work back, one step at a time, finding the marriage, and then back to John's birth.

just had a quick recap - didnt you say that the 1855 henry Willis birth was not, in the end, the right one, as father not John?

i think i found john willis that was married to caroline willis
Born 1825, stepney middlesex england.

Shows them in the 1851 census john willis, caroline willis, and a ann willis age 1.
I think that ann willis died after that because she doesn't show up again in the 1861 census but a caroline willis does, wondering if she is a niece of them or something.!!!!!!1

Ages seem to make sense so far as i can figure!!!!
Could someone verify this for me if thats ok !

Thanks
Sifer
