Do you know I wonder why he didn't put his brothers name as next of kin

Hi Everyone,

I have now got Michael Patrick Malloys millitary records or some of them anyway I am now seeking imformation on his next of kin who he names as Mrs Bridget Gallagher, Forest City, Philadelphia, on annother occasion he names her as Mrs John Gallagher. I am pretty sure they are related as Michaels Mothers Maiden name was Gallagher and his sister was called Bridget, if anybody can help me find any imformation be it census, bmd etc  I would be most grateful it also lists Michaels occupation as Miner and he was admitted to hospital each time suffering from recipient turbuculosis

Many Thanks Jane

Because I didn't check the multiple threads, I am not going to transcribe all the info before I ask this question:  Do you have Bridget and her family in 1920 Duquesne, Allegheny, Penn. census?

John 62, Bridget 59, and 4 adult children living with them.

Also in 1910 with 6 kids.  John was a cop.

I don't know where they were in 1910 or 1920 but Michael named them as his next of kin during ww1 and ww2 and it definetly said Forest city in each case

Thanks Jane

OK, the one I found is probably not her then...Duquesne is quite a few miles from Forest City/Scranton.

Annie Gallagher 13, Pennsylvania
Helen Gallagher 12, Pennsylvania
James Gallagher 9, Pennsylvania
Frances Gallagher 8, Pennsylvania
