Bennifers from Grimston

Does anyone have any information on the Bennifers of Grimston? I have some contacts in Leicestershire but am specifically looking for those of Grimston origin at the moment.
Also, I am looking for any descendants of Wilfred John Bennifer b 1892 (?) and Winifred Ruth b 1903.
I am in Australia so its not easy to 'pop in' to the NRO!  ;)Thanks heaps.

Also on the following site, there is a few people who have started family trees, with the surname Bennifer, they are a lot later date, and one name is in  Leicestshire, maybe worth a look.  The site is free to register, but if you want to contact anyone, or place a request on site, there is a yearly subscription, here it is £7-50, but there is people from all over the world registered.

Hi Catherine,

Thanks so much for your reply. I should have added the word 'living' relatives - sorry. All the people you mention re indeed my relatives. The two, Wilfred and Winifred - I cannot seem to find any info on their descendants at all. These are my great aunt and uncle so I am very keen to know if anyone has any info on them.

The other people that I would like to see if they 'connect' to the Grimston lot is a Stephen and Finetta Bennifer - they were recorded on a census as visitors to Robert and Susan so I am sure there is some connections there.

I have registered on genesconnected and have found a couple more contacts from there.  Yes its a great site.

So you want to contact the living now, so have I, and the first on I found had ten children, and one of them went on to have 10, then another had eleven (What fun it is)

Now you have also registered on Genes Site, if you go to the message board - go onto record office - you should find on there a Rachel Howell would has the CD for the 2003 electorol roll, if you send her a message with the surname and areas you state above, she will be able to check, if any of that name are still in the area, and she will be able to give you addresses.  I have nudge it up to the first page, so you should be able to find it on the first couple of pages, depending when you go on site.

Sorry no relation to the Bennifers.  Just trying to help here and there, as so many have helped me get started, and they have gone on to help me when I'm stuck.

I find it helps you gain experience on what to do next.
