Evison in Hundleby look up request please

I have hit a brick wall my research,I have got back to Philip Evison who married Susanna Leeman in 1765 at Hundleby.One of my relations seems to think that he had been married prior to this and I would like to know whether anyone out there would be able to give guidance as to where I might start looking.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The IGI at www.familysearch.org has 2 marriages for a Phillip EVISON;

09 March 1754 to Elizabeth RICHISON, Hundleby, Lincs
12 September 1765 to Susanna LEEMAN, Hundleby, Lincs

This does not mean it is still the same Philip but probably is as I would not think it was a very common name

I cant find any christenings at this stage to Philip and Elizabeth but these are the christenings of children born to Philip and Susanna;

Evison (male),  10 February 1771
Philip ,15 March 1772
Robert, 26 May 1776
John, 25 October 1767
Phoebe, 27 February 1774
William, 23 February 1766
Susannah, 9 July 1769, died 1771
Susannah, 9 July 1780
Rebecca , 8 February 1778, died 9 August 1779

All extracted records and all children christened Hundleby

Which one are you descended from??

Elizabeth Richison is the name that my cousin metioned but I'm not certain

Hi Dave,

Even if there were other children from 1st marriage if there was one it does not affect your line.

William christened 23 Feb 1766 is definitely the child of Philip and Susanna Leeman.

Its 1.00 am here so will be off-line soon but will look at this again tomorrow
