Index to Irish Civil Registrations lists a marriage for Bernard O'Neill Oct./Dec.1908 Carlow registration district volume 3 page 293and an Ellen Curran with same details.

I have a question for Aghadowey,

You say not to mention it was from LDS, I just wanted to know why? Only because I have sent off for some BMD records and did mention LDS . So I am wondering if I made a huge mistake

GRONI & GRO seem to have a mental block when LDS is mentioned as source of references (date/Quarter, page, volume, etc.) and quite a few people have reported problems. It's been mentioned on at least one thread:

I haven't ordered any certificates for a while but years ago I did a surname search at GRO and noted all entries with the surname I was searching. On my ned visit to Dublin, using the reference numbers I'd gotten from them previously, they tried to say that the numbers weren't valid and I'd have to pay extra to search the index again!

Thank you for the info. I guess I might be paying extra on my credit card for them saying they had to do a search .
