I am looking for Martha and Thomas Yarwood, Martha was born 1863 Wharton, Cheshire and Thomas was born abt 1863 cheshire.

Do you know any of their children? Or an occupation for Thomas?
1901 has two Martha Yarwoods born in CHeshire with husbands called Thomas of a similar age

Thank you for the help in finding Martha and Thomas, I think it mit be the first one for 1901.

I dont beleive this! I thought I would find the Weaverham-born one in 1871 age 7 with his parents. You could then compare the father's name with that on the marriage cert that you have.

However
in 1871 there are TWO Thomas Yarwoods age 7, BOTH living in Wincham, BOTH have father called Thomas. (One born Weaverham with mother ALice and dad a Carpenter, one born Marston with mother Catherine and dad a Salt works labourer)
so that wasnt much help in proving which is yours!

Thomas dad name was not Thomas but Francis

so the Weverham- born one, the carpenter, is looking less likely then, as he is more likely to be the Weverham-born one in 1871 with the carpenter dad.
