well, it looks like there was more than one Abraham Powell married to a Sarah
1851 Llyswen, Trawscoed HO107/2494 folio 209 pg 17
Abraham Powell head mar 55 farmer of 35 acres b. Llanyre
Mary wife 52 b. Brecs, Llandinam
Margaret Powell sister-in-law widow 72 pauper formerly farmer b. Brecs, Llanavan(?)
William Weale 7 pauper b. Llanyre
there are definitely 2 separate farming families headed by an Abraham Powell. One at Wain, Abbey Cwmhir with many acres and several generations of Abraham - they had another son Abraham after one died in 1876.
And then there's the family of Abraham the shoemaker who don't have a son called Richard David on the 1871 census and aren't at Llyswen, either

This family is still in the Sun Inn in 1881 with Sarah as the innkeeper, no son called Abraham, no son called Richard. It's the page before the other Sarah with son Richard.

think you need Richard David Powell's birth or marriage certificate to confirm father's occupation, but suspect it was the correct family I gave you in my first post.
