I am looking for information and photographs for the Windmill Inn which is in Blossom Street right next to Micklegate Bar.
Can anybody help please ?

THank you . I am really interested in the history and dating of the Pub .
I know that it traditionally features in the famous Micklegate Run but have drawn a blank on further information. I do not live near York. Is their a source for on line trade directories ?

By the look of the place on the website looks like another pub which has all the atmosphere gutted from it in the interests of modernity!

Hi If you look on www.imagineyork.co.uk and search for Windmill Pub Blossom Street there are some old photos.

From York Street Directory 1902-3 it was 7 Blossom Street - Windmill Hotel - Charles G Harper.
