Hi

Sorry for the delay in replying - it's been a long time since I checked this site. I haven't come across your Sarah yet but I am still researching the Alderseas

I have a Martha Aldersea (also spelt Aldersey) born 1798 in Madeley, d. of Thomas and Mary.

There are a number of Alderseas in the Madeley and Betley registers in the early 1800's if you are going back that far.

Hi both

I have a Samuel Aldersea born 1845 in Wolstanton and his father is William who married an Elizabeth Glover in Madeley in 1829. That is as far as I know at present and I haven't been able to find them on the 1841 census. Elizabeth appears to have been born in Wolstanton. The marriage in Madeley is the only connection I can come up with for my Alderseas
