Thank you for the info and the link.  I have reviewed some valuation info previously, but since I could not find any link by first name to our line, and knowing that the men who came to the US from Ireland had little to nothing in terms of personal wealth, I had dismissed any idea of our line coming from the line that held so much land.  Perhaps I will take another look and keep working at finding a link.

You have affirmed an idea I have had to start looking for the David Francis Grant in other places than the Rathpatrick area... perhaps I will take a closer look at Wexford and even Waterford.
