Another hard to read occupation

Everyone was so helpful last time - I hope you can do as well this time.
The lad (14) is a servant in a house hold where the Head is (I think) a Mariner.
can anyone work out what this occupation is?

Is it 1871 Census England and can you give the ref no please as it may be helpful to look at the Enumerator's writing.

I think it says personal servant, written quickly, with the two words joined together.
