Lookups--census,bmd for Susan Gabriel b1842

I am trying to find info on Susan Gabriel b1842 Breconshire. Her father was Morgan Gabriel. Susan married my grt grd father [as a widow with surname Jones]. It was my grt gd fathers second marriage. As susan Jones she mariied George Elmes[Elms] in 1888 at Pontypridd. When they married ,she lived at Ferndale,Glam. I have that marriage certificate which shows her father[then deceased] as Morgan Gabriel. I do not know where she is buried either. Susan died in 1896 [june qtr]-Pontyprdd .

So I am hoping to trace Susan from Breconshire [her family] and her marriages. So any info welcomed. Thank you.
Also, I have tried on Glamorgan site too.

Hi

A Susan Gabriel married in Brecknock Dec Q 1862 11b 235  but there is no Jones on the same page.

If this is her she married either James Thomas or William Williams.

So we are looking for a Susan Thomas   ...... Jones  marriage sometime before 1888.

Yes and there are some in Glamorganshire where they perhaps moved.

has a John Thomas (24 yrs)  and Hy Thomas (29 yrs) as lodgers and an Annie Thomas 12 yrs (but born Glamorganshire) as a visitor - all with a Price family.
John and Annie's ages are right but ... Thomas... is a quite a common name. John and Hy are born Breconshire.

I think that it is going to be difficult now - as James Thomas dies (presumably-unless she is a bigamist) and Susan marries Mr Jones - all between the censuses and such common names.

A long shot

There is a marriage of a Susan Thomas Pontypridd Sep Q 1883  11a 565  with a William Jones on the same page.

The only other Susan Thomas to Jones marriage I can see is in the quarter before she married George Elms.
