Edward COLEMAN - NSW - COMPLETED
« on: Friday 03 July 09 23:17 BST (UK) »
Hi there,

I am still trying to find out when my Edward COLEMAN died. He was married to a Hannah PAYNE in the UK. I have their marriage cert. I did have Hannah death printout somewhere but am unable to locate it at present.

Edward COLEMAN parents were John COLEMAN and Rachel Unknown (do not have a surname for her at present)

Edward's wife Hannah died 8/12/1893 Stroud, NSW. Have checked this out and Edward is not buried with her.  I have tried to look on the BDM site online but do not see a match there.

I have emailed my uncle to see if it says that Edward was still alive when Hannah died or not.

I thought it would tell me on one of his sons death cert if they were both deceased but does not tell me that iinfo. Would be of help if it did.

I do have other threads on other parts of this family but it is just Edwards death that i am trying to find.

Any help would be welcomed

Newbe, do you know when Edward Coleman was born, or how long he had been in NSW?

Thanks, Newbe. That eliminates the Edward Coleman who died in NSW in 1910, no parents listed, who had either been in Kempsey for 77 years or was aged 77 years.....I'm not sure which.

I can't see hs death in NSW either, and I've tried some spelling variations.  :-\

Thanks Dee,

I had wondered if it was the one with unknown parents but again am not sure.
1893/11679 Coleman Edward, Unknown, Unknown, Parramatta

Again am not sure, but I do not think this is my one either.

So far I am at a loss to find him.   I wonder (now this is me just thinking out loud) if the informant knew the parents names or not.

PS: Looks like it Dee. Would have to find $$$$$ to get cert. Don't have any till end of month unless my uncle gets it for me

No idea, Newbe....but I guess he had his reasons.   :-\

You know you can get a digital image of the certificate online, don't you? It still needs dollars, but is much cheaper than getting a paper copy.

Thanks Dee,

Yes I know you can get copy on line. Have done that before with other family members in Vic.

I guess the only way to find out if it is my Edward is to get the digital copy. Then I will know for sure.

Thanks for all your help on this Dee
