Help needed to decipher cause of death - Catherine Brodie Skinner/Completed

Could someone please help me decipher the cause of death for my great, great grandmother, Catherine Brodie Skinner, who died on June 3, 1880.

I can read the senile decay but can't make out the cause listed below.  Looks like arteo..something.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Senile decay is the cause.

The words under are the certifying Dr's name

As certified by Henry G??, MD, CM

Dr's surname could be Gardner.

I see it now!!  I guess I didn't think that senility was a usual cause of death....thought it was usually accompanied by something else.
