She was murdered.
Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of the newspaper clipping.

yes, that's what i thought. She was married to my uncle during, or just after WW11, (*)

What state do you  think  she died in?  What was  the husband name

His name was bernard (Bob) Archer, and her maiden name was Sutherland.
