 ??? Looking for the birth and parents of John BOWEN c 1829 Richards Castle. Hoping that someone has the Parish Records for Richards Castle. Father stated as John Bowen on his marriage certificate.

Any info. no matter how small, greatly appreciated.

Would this be RICHARD CASTLE 1838  Basingstoke ,  who married ELIZABETH SPANSWICK  in 1862 , Eastbury ,   ( St James ).       If so , I can help .

Family Search has the baptism of a John on 11 Oct 1829 at Richards Castle Shropshire with mother Eleanor Bowen and no father listed.   Could the father be an invention?  I can only see one John Bowen in the census born in that time in Bishops Castle
