I don't suppose there;s any real way of telling but a Patrick Heeran was baptised in Cloone, Co Leitrim in June 1850 (probably 9th but unclear) to William Heeran and Eleanor McGee,  Townland was probably Gortnara where other siblings were born.  Sponsors were John McGee and Eleanor McGinnis.

I don't think he appears as a family man in the later baptism records and he does not appear in the 1901 census.

There are two possible Baptism matches on the Co. Leitrim section of the Irish Family History Foundation Website at www.irish-roots (pay-site)

Patrick    Hearn    1845    Outeragh parish - RC
Patrick    Heeran    1850    Cloone parish - RC

The records on the system are transcripts and cost €5 each to view.

the Cloone record seems to be the same one that Jim I mentioned -  narrowing the search to fathers name of William returns a match for this.
