hi all
      does anyone have any information on the dale school for boys? think it was a reformatory school,i there was arelative of mine who was sent there in the 50s,id originally thought it was the elms but i was barking up the wrong tree there  ::) :D are there still eisting records of who went there.and who ran the school? any info would be really appreciated :)

I suppose you know the School was on Brechin Road and is now a bunch of flats?

There are annual reports viewable at Arbroath Library, but If you're after pupil lists I think you need the records held in Dundee City Library here: http://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/archive/familyrecords/
