I am going to try those sights thanks. My Great Grandfather went to Caterham Asylum in 1881-2. Has anybody got any advice on trying to find his records. Long term mental illness. He was a Missionary...

 He was born in 1839. He was in the 1881 census in London but went to Caterham after this from 1881-1882.After this time he returned to his work in London.
