This photo is very interesting especially as some of my ancestors (Banners and Byngs came from this area)

Hi dudleylad,

I am still hopeful that a few more faces might be identified, it sounds quite likely that you may have a relative or two on there, I think probably a few more of ours are, who we just don't recognise.   I think some of the Wood family are on there too (based on that they lived by the people we do know).

I guess the main problem is asking 30 years (or so) too late  :)

Probably a ladies Church Outing Lisa, looks as though they are sitting by a Canal Bridge maybe?  Lovely picture, from Linell.

Thanks Linell, yes we have been thinking about where the bridge might be, but haven't worked it out.  I'm ever hopeful that more of the ladies might be identified, there is such a lot of detail in the photo,

Just came across this site by accident the Person mentioned in the photo Rosa Day who was called Rosa Sarah A Day Born 1886 was my Great Grandmother she married George William Fox her mom and dad was George Day and mother Emma Field
