Just to add a note ,
Have just got Mary's son's (my grandad)marriage certificate and he was living at Marys house with gertude Blackburn (my gran)
the witnesses were Mary Knowles and John George Ray Russell !
this was in 1936, so it adds proof to her statement that they were lovers for years and everyone knew about it, she didn't start killing them off till 1955

hello again ! I keep doing a bit of research but so many other things taking up my time , we now live on a narrowboat so spent the last year cruising lol, hope alls well with you xxxx
