My wife's grandad in Army uniform, can it be improved please?

Hi Folks,

Thank you for your great efforts! The improvements are amazing, but unfortunately I can't decide what one is my favourite. Each time I look at them it changes.

We don't have a date for the photograph, but because he is wearing the uniform we guess it was during WW1.  All it says is D Milne 158 King Street, Aberdeen. if anyone can help that would be appreciated.
