'Origins Network' will give the names of the occupiers, but no description of the actual houses. :)

You can add the name White to your residents of Monk/Monck Street.

An inscription in Selskar Abbey states the following:

To the memory
of
John and Mary Elizabeth White
late of Monck street
and of three of their children
Thomas, John and Eliza
this stone is erected 1865.

Hi thank you for the post.
It said by the second pic that it was taken from the Wexford free press, i have been trying to find a newspaper article from May 1909 that was meant to be in that newspaper, do you know if they have an online archive.

Thanks again.

The Free Press ceased publication in about 1971 - I'm not aware of an on-line resource. The local Wexford library have the Free Press papers on microfilm but only from 1923 according to my records.

The Wexford Echo & People papers from 1909 are on micro film at the local Wexford Town library and at the National Library in Dublin.

If you're unable to access either of these locations then if you advise exactly what you're trying to locate I'll be happy to take a look the next time I'm at the National library which should be in about a month's time.

Hi, thanks for your offer i live in England so i am unable to check the records myself.
I am looking for a story about a man called Thomas McCann he had a fatal accident on the 2nd May 1909, on the death certificate i think it says he was in Ballyvergan Wexford at the time of the accident.
Thanks again. :)
