1891 and 1901 Census Kent
« on: Tuesday 01 March 05 20:02 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for John Wallis who was a builder in the Maidstone area. He would have been approx. 26 in 1891 and 36 in 1901.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Colin.

Many, many thanks Caz.

I picked up a hymn book at the Sandgate Baptist church last week that contains the inscription "F M Wallis Detlynge Sandgate.  The book was published in 1888.  Thought this might be of interest to you.

As a keen singer of West Gallery music, the hymn book is of some interest to me.  However, I would be quite willing for the price of the postage to send it to someone who was related to FM Wallis - coould be the (?) mother or the (?)daughter as both had the initials FM.
