Joseph Bird b. 1782 Wombridge, son of Henry Bird and Elizabeth ? married Charlotte Holmes b. 1784,  14 Oct 1805 in Wrockwardine. 
Does anyone know anything about this family?

In reply to your nessage I can't offer any info - but I am also lookoing at ancestors with the surname of "Bird". Have you come accross a Daniel Bird born in the early 1800 with a daughter named Amelia? I know its a long shot.

No I haven't come across Daniel, but I can only find daughters christened in my family, five of them.  I can only assume that there were no sons or more likely that the sons were not christened.  I have come across this problem before.

If I find anything in the future I will let you know.

Thank you Frances - yes Thomas is a brother of Joseph.  I wish that I could find the marriage between their parents, Henry Bird and Elizabeth ? about  1780- 1795.

If you think that Samuel and Martha are the parents of Daniel (via Frances). I have found a death of a Samuel Bird 20 Dec 1820 age 64.

all children b. in Wombridge

Also -       Ezekil b. 3 Jun 1792 Wombridge , Father Samuel Mother Mary.  (something odd there, wouldn't you say)

SO - If Samuel and Martha are the parents of your Daniel perhaps it is a second marriage for Samuel??
