Just would like to share latest update from archivist in charge of releasing 1901 and 1911 censuses

"We are on target to release Dublin 1911 before the end of this year, and all the rest before end 2008. I would expect Dublin 1901 to be live by mid-next year"

So be patient all of you.... some more!

hi anne, thanks for posting the update.
was by the autumn now by end of year,they keep moving the goalposts don't they.ah well at least I've got movement on one of my families with new info' so suppose will just have to wait,It could be worse,at least I get to the archives now and again.

I am actually trying to locate 1911 census - however,have been to LDS library searching and  it doesn't appear that the street (Mount Pottinger Road, Knockbreda, Belfast) was included.

1911 census for Mountpottinger Road Belfast appear on at least 2 films according to LDS catalogue: #2093289 & 2093298 (check to see if also on other films)

Thank you -- i appreciate your help - i am still trying to navigate this genealogy.  i ordered those films and didn't find the information.  i will order the films again and see what i can find.  if it is there is it will at least tell me about whether my GGF was alive at the time!

Second attempt to post.... not sure what happened to earlier one.  I just want to share with all news I heard tonight that the Irish Census for 1911 will be going online tomorrow Dec 3rd.  I am not sure how it will work - maybe through libraries initially?

So fingers crossed everyone!

Great news Anne- at last!- but wonder if the site will crash when everyone who's been waiting tries to use it.
