« on: Sunday 09 August 09 22:35 BST (UK) »
If anyone has any knowledge of Ipswich Perfits please let me know.

I have traced back to Alfred Perfitt living in the Mountain Ash Inn, Hangford Lane, Ipswich.  he is married to Selina and has a son Arthur born c 1896.

Thanks
Selena

Hi Selena,

Is Arthur's birth date wrong? Is it the 1891 census you have? I can see and Alfred W Perfitt age 44 born Eye Suffolk with with wife Selina at the Mountain Ash Inn but his son Arthur is already 6 then.

Earlier censuses shows Afred Williams's birthplace as Braiseworth Suffolk, the son of Robert and Elizabeth - would you like the details?

A possible baptism.

Selina Chapman Palmer
15th July, 1855
daughter of James (farmer) and Frances.
Stuntney, Cambs.

1861 census puts Selinas birthpace at Stuntney, but the family were in Soham.

Hi Selena,
My name is Yvonne Findlay-Cash from New Zealand. My parents were from London
I have been researching my family over many many years.
My great great grandparents were Thomas and Keziah Dean.
I am without all my paperwork at the moment as I have returned to NZ from 17 years in Australia however I would like to restart my project and the information on this site re Thomas and Keziah has given me a fresh start so thank you.
regards
Yvonne

Hello Selena,
No knowledge of the Perfitts but have just checked my list of Ipswich Public Houses (1880 - 1912) and the 'Mountain Ash' was in Handford Road.
Good searching
