Nicholas Holland was the father of Patrick Holland. Patrick Holland married Rose Hoey on September 29th 1890 at St Patricks Roman Catholic Chapel in the registras district of Carrickmacross in the county of Monaghan. Joseph was a postman living at Blackrock at the time of the marriage , whilst Rose was residing at Mullagheafferty, a Francis Carlow and a Rose Ann Carlow were acting as witnessess at the ceremony. Rose Hoeys father was a James Hoey Deceased at the time of the wedding as was Nicholas Holland Farmer also deceased at the time of the wedding.
