Tryin to find any Todds from Stranraer, moved to Glasgow in the late 1870s , John Todd, a sherriff officer born in Ireland about 1788 married to Mary (McLean?) , Children where Robert Todd born about 1819 who married  Margaret Paterson Then Susan McKie. William born February 1822,John born 1824 married Mary Fulton then Margaret Gibney or McGibney, James born 1826, Mary born 1830 and Alexander and Jean born 1832, Any info on these or any other Todd's from Stranraer would be welcome.

Hi - have found John Todd on 1851 census just in case you haven't got the details here they are!
Mill Street or Little Dublin- Stranraer Parish
Head - John Todd- widower-age 63 - sheriff officer- Born  Hillsborough, Ireland
Janet Todd-dau-unmarried-20- sewer- b. Stranraer
Mary Todd- dau-unmarried-22-sewer- b. stranraer
Robert Todd- grandson of John- 8- b. Stranraer

    ;D  thanks for that info, I actually manage to get that info a few weeks ago from another site, BUT its good to know there are people out there willing to help ..  Thanks again
