Thomas John Davies - Aberdare area

I'm looking for info on my great granfather Thomas John Davies parents. I'm also trying to find Thomas' birth certificate as this will tell me the names of his parents
This i what i know

His father is called John Davies
His mother was possibly Gwen
but i am unsure of both full names

Thomas John davies was born 13th march 1919 in aberdare
He married his wife harriet beryl lloyd 10th april 1939 in the district of vaynor
Thomas' address at the time of the wedding is "8 station road, hirwaun" and his father was deceased by 1939, his  fathers occupation was colliery hewer. Thomas was a mason's labourer

any help and info would be great
