I am trying to research my paternal grandfather's family. I have found them on the 1881 and 1891 census. My grandfather's name was David Davies and so was his father's. I tried looking for gt grandfather David, who was born in Llanwinio in about 1850, but as you can imagine there were  thousands of David Davies. One who was born in Llanwinio was 12yrs old in 1861 and he was a servant on a farm in Llanwinio. The people living next door were called Davies and the wife's name was Maresha, My great aunt was named Maresha which is quite an unusual name so I thought that there might be a connection. Any one got any ideas of where to go from here?
