If, like me, you've had problems accessing the online Collections Catalogue at the Surrey History Centre's site, this might help;


'SURREY HISTORY CENTRE COLLECTIONS CATALOGUE

 I am sorry you have been having problems trying to access our online catalogue.  I regret to say we currently have a significant problem with this system and it is unavailable.  However many of the catalogues have also been loaded on the Exploring Surrey’s Past website (www.exploringsurreyspast.org.uk).  This website has a ‘Search all records’ option on the home page, which searches across all the datasets and theme pages on the site.  This covers our main archive collections and a range of other material we hold including illustrations, maps, journals and sale particulars.  The main archive collections also have their own search interface, the ‘Specialist Search’ (which you can access from the Advanced Search page), but this is still under development at the moment.

We hope to have something better for you to use fairly soon, but in the meantime I will have to ask you to bear with us while we sort out the situation.'
