Hello Rosie,
The people in question lived in either North St or Benyon St? (1911 census). The names are John T Ellis (died 1914) & his wife Frances (died 1925)
I would love to see if their graves are still somewhere.
Thanks for your effort.

There is a Church called All Saints in Castlefields the area that those Streets are in.  They might have some burial information there for you.  My guess is though that the graves will be located at the main cemetery in the town the council have the information on all the graves located in there.  I will dig around for the contact information for you as I remember seeing it on the main sign there so many times but can't recall it off the top of my head.

North Street and Benyon Street are located near the main railway station in the town and just a little way down the Road from the Dana Prison.

I've just found this website that might help.  It might mean though that you need t take a trip to the Shropshire Archives in Shrewsbury.  I don't get much of a chance to go there very often now I don't live in the town, but I can look when I go next for you.  There might be someone else willing to help who visits there more often.

Thanks again Aileen,
This is a good lead to follow.
Unfortunately I live in Lancashire, so a visit is to the Archives may have to wait a while.
Anyway thanks for your efforts it is very much appreciated.

I will see what I can find the next time I'm there which should hopefully be in the next couple of weeks for you.  The register will also help me find my great grandparents graves too, which I can never seem to find in there. My mum tells me its a different place every time I go looking.  The place is massive.  If you get the chance to look it up on Google earth you will see what I mean!!

Thanks again Aileen and good luck on your search.

I have visited Shrewsbury last weekend and found one grave in the General cemetery and visited All Saintsbut nothing.

Thanks Aileen but I think I have exhausted my search.
