Black Rock is in Haggardstown civil parish (Dundalk Poor Law Union) according to http://www.thecore.com/seanruad Checking LDS online catalogue has 1911 census Haggardstown DED 43/9 Blackrock town. Try the name you're looking for with Haggardstown as DED and see if that works.
There are some mistakes in 1911 for places- Aghadowey listed as Aghadowney and Cah as Cam (which is very confusing as there's a Cam, Camm and Camus in the area).

the listing for the town of Blackrock is empty, which does not seem correct - see : http://census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Louth/Haggardstown/Blackrock_Town/

Thanks for the information, Shane. I thought Blackrock would be available via the DED but looks like it's missing completely.

Am I missing something here? Can't see Blackrock even mentioned

 Census Years 1911 Louth  Haggardstown

Townlands/Streets in Haggardstown (Louth)

    Ballybarrack
    Carnanbregagh
    Cavan Upper
    Haggardstown
    Killally

yet it was apparently there on Shane's reply (as per his link)...there in 1901

On an earlier version of the website there was a blank entry for the town under the Haggartstown DED - as in the link above.  This was removed in a later update and no longer shown in the DED :

  http://census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Louth/Haggardstown/

presumably the entries for town were either - never filmed, so not available to be digitized, or the pages or missing or damaged, or were omitted from the scanning process by mistake.

Has anyone seen film, or paper, returns for the town for 1911 ?
i.e. do they exist ?
