They usually say 'If you want a job done well do it yourself'  Well on this occasion I couldn't better the one done by 'wozzle' Many thanks, I am very grateful and appreciate the time spent on this.

I was fascinated to see that you are looking for some Pritchard history.  My family of Pritchards go back to 1801 to date (still searching) and most were born or settles in Glasbury, Ross on  Wye (Hay).  I would think there must be a connection somewhere!

Hi
I must admit that this fellow is the first Pritchard for me to look into.  In saying that one of my boyhood mates was named Stephen Pritchard and he had older sisters, Val Prichard was one, can't remember the other,  this was back in the 1940/50s, not sure when the family arrived in the village, possibly from the 1920s onwards.  If you find that any of your ancestors passed through Brithdir please get in touch and I will endeavour to learn whatever I can for you.  Although the village has changed over the last years with many newcomers moving in I still have many family and friends who have resided there sixty/seventy years so plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

All the best, Roy
