should have known that myself, as quite alot of my yorkshire relatives did the same as can been seen from their offsprings certs.  But like i said i'm not as familiar with reg. districts that fall outside my native yorkshire, but i'll bear this in mind for future searches.

Have you checked out the Sawbridge family on Facebook? There is a chap, Ronald Sawbridge who has done a family tree going back to 1550.
he sent my branch to me some time ago.
My family come from Leicester, and some of them the St. Margaret's Parish, but I do not know of a link to yours.
