Hi
One of our Rootschatters is having some problems with her Blatch family,
I saw your post and wondered if maybe you can help her out . It seems you both have a James William Blatch connection.
If you click on this link you will see the problem.

Hello,

I am interested in the Jary line. I have a Robert A. Jary who was married in Kings Lynn. But I'm having trouble going back any further on his side. Someone told me his father was named "Peter." Does this ring any bells?  ???

New to this group. Not sure if you are addressing me, Nor_Fam.

Robert A. Jary married Eliza Parfrey (f: Richard / m: Penelope Powley) 26 Feb 1843. I can go back to the Whitby name (Penelope's mother) through Eliza, but can get nothing on Robert, who came to America and settled in Nebraska.

Regards

I have a William Jary (birth date unknown) who married Sarah Cubitt on 26 May 1778 at Catfield, Norfolk and a Bridgett Jary (b. Burlingham 1772; d.1849 Sidestrand) who married John Cubitt in 1799 at South Walsham, Norfolk.  I do not know if these Jary's are related.  John Cubitt was Sarah Cubitt's nephew.

Hello!

Those are our Parfreys all right! Glad to find a new name or two in the bunch. I'd like to find out more on the _background_ for Richard PARFREY, who married Ann BOCKING? Or any on Miss BOCKING? I have that he died in 1803 and she in 1800.

The Norfolk Transcription Archive has records for Holme Hale back to 1758, which is just after the births of the people I'm looking for. But I know that Eliza PARFREY (dau of Richard and Penelope, in your note) married _Robert JARY_ in Kings Lynn 26.Feb.1843; his past is also obscured. His grave marker (in Nebraska, USA) says his birthdate was 12.May.1820, and his marriage license says he was born in England, as was his father (Peter). I'd really like to find out more about him. Someday when I'm able to extend my search into Subscription waters, I may have better success. BTW, Richard and Penelope had 8 more children. Thanks for filling in a few of the blanks.

Regards,
