Have you looked for a will? Thomas might mention family in Norfolk.

Do you know about the project- the Norfolk Transcript archive?

http://www.doun.org/transcriptions/index.php

You might find some Sharp's.......I found a few of the family I was looking for in Yarmouth.

Richard Francis Jnr and Eleanor Burt Francis.

maybe there was another Eleanor Burt in the family who married a Francis or was given mother's maiden name as a second name?

Could it be Richard hanig junior?

I googled for Hanig and it seems to be a surname which does exist.

Hiya alpinecottage, janan, carol8353, Parmesan & Roger in Sussex. Thank you all very much for your replies and the information enclosed.  ;D

I`ve checked the 1841 & 1851 Census for possible relations or family in Great Yarmouth but Thomas was a Clergyman and I can not rule anyone in or out.

I`ve also got a copy of his will, but this only mentions his wife and children when he died in London in 1838 and where they were living.

Now off to check the other recommendations.  ;D

Banbury and Hall families from Leicester 1850 to 1950.

Parfery or Parfrey family from Norfolk or Cambs 1800 to 1900.
