In 1901 -Hugh (age indexed as 76 at Ancestry) and Charles age 30 still at Cadder.

In 1871 they are at Garnkirk Workhouse, Cadder.

1891 is a mystery.

I should have said Garnkirk Work House.

There were 526 people at that address in 1871 but I don't think it was a poorhouse. More likely housing that was tied to Garnkirk Brick Works as most of the people living there worked at the Brick Works. :)

Should have added that they had their own household not like a poorhouse where it's just one long list.

I'm also interested in the accommodation tied to the Garnkirk Works as it is stated on my gt grandmother's birth certificate and she was born in 1857

Ref Hugh Mckenna age 13 from Garnkirk.  This Hugh was married to my grand aunt Sarah Slaven.
Hope this helps and I have lots of information on these Garnkirk & Heathfield Square families.
