I wonder if this is the correct Edward Davey?  Anabella was born 1828, Edward died 1823? ::)
I wonder who was Robert Coles in the 1841 census?  Twenty years younger than Mary.
Certainly no death date for Mary, unless she got married again.

Hello Suzy,
Have just found your correspondence on Beadon Davey's burial at St. Saviours Church, Rolleston, N.Z. I'm pleased to inform he does have a plaque headstone which several NZ descendants contributed to and erected January, 2013.
Late last year I tracked down the 30 acre block of land he farmed in Rolleston.
Beadon's second son, Henry, was my great grandfather.
We will be visiting the UK and passing through Somerset towards the end of July ( in just over a weeks time!) visiting Lilstock, Nether Stowey and Culmstock. I wonder if you or another Davey family researcher is living in this vicinity? Hope this message is timely, we leave NZ Monday am.    JoCCEFM

The Davey side is my mother-in-laws family, her line carry down from Walter Davey. Then the next Walter Davey.
We are in Christchurch

I think I might have the photo of Beadon's stone somewhere among all the records.

Have a great trip, and hope you find some old skeletons, especially the Palmer side,  Google ..Paupers and Pig Killers and under Joseph Palmer (father of Lavinia) is a good read

Hi Laura,
So good to hear from you again. We are staying tonight and tomorrow night near Heathrow airport and will be going out about 9am tomorrow. On Sunday we're driving via Henley on Thames and Bath and our accommodation that night is at Postbridge, Dartmore Forest. Would love to meet you and any other relatives. We can stop or deviate anywhere on the way down that you think best. Have also booked a reader at Taunton Records office on Tuesday morning. Looking forward to hearing from you.  Do hope we can meet up, Johanne.

Hi Laura,
If we could meet at 11am at the Taunton record office that would be great. When we left from N.Z. I never imagined this could be possible! Yes, I'm very excited too.
Four of us will surely have lots to exchange.
Looking forward to Tuesday morning,
Johanne.
