St Mary, Newington baptisms lookup
« on: Friday 25 September 09 14:49 BST (UK) »
Hello  I am trying to locate baptism of Ann Earl(e) which might have been recorded in St Mary Newington.  I don't have exact year, just an estimate that she was born 1780 to 1785, more likely 1780/81.  Thanks

There was an Ann Earl baptised between 1782 and 1812 at St Mary Magdelene Bermondsey.
see here http://www.parishregister.com/searchpage.asp
It is a very small amount to get a copy of the transcription on-line.  If you ask for all Earls you will also get William.  Just enter the surname.

Of course it may not be yours

The Bermondsey baptism took place on 27th June 1790, parents Joseph & Rebecca Susanna Earl of Snows Fields, he was a dyer.

Hi Sylviann & Dawn - thanks for checking.  Yes, I think 1790 is a bit late.  cheers, goddles
