HAREN / HARHEN Co. Clare. Ireland
« on: Sunday 27 September 09 18:59 BST (UK) »
My great, great grandparents John Haren and Hannah (Murphy) Haren lived at Tulloughboy, (Kilmaley Parish) in Clare.  Married February 1853.
They had 10 children and I can only find 3, Bridget (my great-grandmother) her brothers Thomas and John.

Any connections out there?

Hello Robert from the Banner County,

Thank you very much for the valuable information you posted.  At the weekend I discovered my grandfather Patrick Crowley living with his grandmother Hannah Haren in the 1911 Census.  I then checked the 1901 Census which gave me John and Thomas, son's of Hannah Murphy Haren.  The enumerator accidently gave info. of 10 children and the many years she was married.

I know what you mean with the different name spellings, I have come across them alot in my research.

Thanks for taking the time Robert, much appreciated.

My great-grandfather, Daniel Haren (born abt 1877-79), immigrated from Ireland in abt 1898.  I am new to geneaology and have as yet been unable to trace his roots back to ireland.  Any information that you could share regarding the Haren surname, or any relatives named Daniel Haren, would be much appreciated.
