maps of Glasgow, Scotland
« on: Monday 28 September 09 15:37 BST (UK) »
I am looking for ways to match old maps of Glasgow to the current maps of Scotland. I am trying to find out if the streets my ancestors lived on still exist today or...what may be in their place. Any suggestions?

Hi there, a trawl of thios site is very useful for maps and pix of Glasgow through the years.

http://urbanglasgow.co.uk/index.php

Also, this site is helpful and gives the old names/new names of any streets which have changed over time (among other things)
