... making a long list (over several pages) of generations of people with the same names (mostly Marys, Williams and Elizabeths) and carefully ripping off the pages of the note pad and putting them to one side.   Knocking them onto the floor where they went everywhere ... and once picked up, realising the pages hadn't been numbered ...  ::)


I use a hardback note book nowadays ...

finding a long lost relative, who excitedly shares with you the fact that she has letters and photos and wills, about your family.....and then waiting.....waiting.....and waiting.....for them to share/send/copy them to you.....still waiting! :(

Still not being able to find G.Grandfather.  I'll find him one day, I will, I will, he had to be somewhere before he begat my gran in 1883 (she was born 1884).

or never having seen a picture of your grandfather before and your Step Grandmother says........oh yes dear...we will get around to finding one for you ,  how about next time your over from Aus in about 3 months  >:(....hello...what are you doing now?   sitting on backside..... >:(   as far as I can tell....your legs aren't painted on are they  ::) ::) ::)

It took a second cousin 30 seconds to dig one out for me....so face has changed to  :)
