Family Name Gabe-Jones

Hello, I am trying to trace the name Gabe-Jones and can't find anything before my Grandfather Arthur Royston Gabe-Jones who was born in Clydach Vale in 1906.  He moved to Cardiff shortly after. His father was a Doctor in the Area at the time but I can't trace any details of him in the 1901 census.  I have found Aneurin Gabe-Jones (who is probably related)  Any help would be very much appreciated.

I figured Gabe would not be used as the surname so tried it as a middle name - and voila!

take a look at the website - there are others which you may need later

Now - in 1901 - there are a couple of doctors which might fit - the most likely seems to have had his first name misspelt - bother to say the least ! -

If you get the birth cert first, then you can look up the 1901 census.
